Jonathan Flora

Partner/Writer/Director/Producer


Jonathan Flora is an award-winning producer with Walt Disney Studios HE, working on Disney, Marvel Studios and LucasFilm titles, which includes the blockbuster Marvel and Star Wars franchises. With his wife Deborah, he formed Lamplight Entertainment, an independent multimedia production company. Through both companies, Jonathan has received numerous Clio, Key Art, Promax, Golden Pollie and film festival awards.


Jonathan has written and directed commercials, PSAs, music videos, and films including Lamplight's award-winning full-length documentary, Lt. Dan Band: For The Common Good, featuring Academy Award-nominated actor Gary Sinise and appearances by Academy Award winners Jon Voight and Robert Duvall. For this film, Jonathan received the Santini Patriot Spirit Award given annually to the filmmaker whose work excellently honors American veterans or their families. In addition, this movie has been hailed by numerous respected Hollywood professionals such as Tom Hanks, Ron Howard, and Jerry Bruckheimer, and was listed by a respected film critic as the "Number 1 Documentary of the Year".


Reflecting Lamplight's goal to also bring attention to important causes, Jonathan has also written and directed several commercials and PSAs including a series addressing military suicide prevention featuring celebrities such as Gary Sinise, Tom Selleck, Patricia Heaton, Armie Hammer, Katharine McPhee, and many others.


A veteran of the U.S. Army's 82d Airborne Division, Jonathan received his B.S.A. in Television Performance and Production, and his M.S.A. in Marketing from Ohio University. He went on to serve as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Sponsorships with the World Wrestling Federation, producing and directing various television segments and promotional commercials for ESPN, USA Network, and the WWF Syndicated Network.


Jonathan currently serves as a Board Member for Bring It Up Media, he's on the Advisory Board for the GI Film Festival in Washington, D.C., and he is the Co-President of Disney SALUTE, which supports Walt Disney Studio's Military Veteran employees.

Deborah Flora

Deborah Flora is an award-winning producer, actress and national speaker. She is also the Co-Host of the syndicated radio show Bring It Up with listeners across America and over 45 countries. As the Director of Public Policy at Salem Colorado, she is a frequent radio contributor on national and local political issues.


As a partner in Lamplight Entertainment, she has produced numerous projects, including the acclaimed documentary, Lt. Dan Band: For The Common Good, featuring Academy Award® nominated actor Gary Sinise with special appearances by numerous celebrities including Academy Award® winners Jon Voight and Robert Duvall, and many others. Prior to forming Lamplight Entertainment with her husband Jonathan, she worked in development for production companies that have won Emmy Awards®, Golden Globe Awards® and awards at Sundance.


A member of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, American Enterprise Leadership Network and the Independence Institute's Center Right Coalition, Deborah speaks around the country at large gatherings such as Value Voter's Summit, the Freedom Center's Restoration Weekend, March for Life, Politicon and the Reagan Library Foundation. She has spoken alongside such national figures Mark Levin, Dennis Prager, Vice President Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, Monica Crowley, Charles Krauthammer, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Anne Coulter, Sarah Palin, and Governor Rick Perry, to name a few.

A President's Scholar and SMU Summa Cum Laude graduate, Deborah studied music at Salzburg's Mozarteum. As Miss Colorado and 2nd Runner-Up to Miss America, Deborah spoke and performed extensively around the world. She is also the Co-Founder of the non-profit, Bring It Up Media focused on empowering women to be champions for themselves, their families their communities and our country.
